Today we're highlighting this hidden gem in Downtown LA's Arts District. You can't spot it from the street, but go through the industrial door and you enter a hip and quirky oasis. Filled with exposed brick, gold walls, lushly patterned couches, urban greenery and a bar covered in vintage flora and fauna illustrations, you'll never get tired of taking it all in.
Millwick, an old livery space was re-imagined at the beginning of 2015 into an airy event space that still maintains serious vintage charm thanks to lots of original brick and wood work. It now boasts a flowing 7,000 square foot floor plan open to private events, outdoor wedding ceremonies and receptions, exhibitions and productions. The vibe could only be described as industrial rustic.
Enjoy an outdoor ceremony in the garden courtyard, where ivy walls, lush ferns and large succulents cover the walls. Millwork is an excellent wedding site for up to 175 people for garden ceremonies and reception and is convenient to many of the best new and history hotels, restaurants and nightlife the city has to offer.
What's even better about this venue? It's drop dead gorgeous when decorated. It was also listed as one of the Best Industrial Wedding Venues in Los Angeles by BRIDES.
