Raquel and the outstanding team at ROQUE events were indispensable and FUN partners in planning our beautiful San Francisco wedding for 150 guests. We wanted our wedding to be unique, and to have a boutique, personal experience with our planning team, and they delivered in spades. When we began our planning process, we wanted to explore venues in both San Francisco (where we live), and in wine country. Despite being Napa-based, ROQUE had no trouble introducing us to some great venues in both locations, nor with ultimately coordinating an amazing wedding in the city, including organizing and traveling for several in-person meetings and previews.
We can’t say enough about the value of having a great event planner like Raquel on your team. Based on our input, ROQUE created an effective vision board for our event and coordinated an army of vendors to bring it to life with absolute consistency. Where we didn’t have existing vendor relationships (in our case, a print designer, florist, ceremony musicians, linen & furniture rentals…), ROQUE hooked us up with a dream team that fit our style perfectly. Where we brought vendors to the table who were new to ROQUE, they quickly established a super-positive working relationship and took any workload off our shoulders.
If we wanted something done, they found a way to make it work (and even better than we envisioned). And countless times, their expertise with wedding planning helped us hone in on details we might not have thought of at all.
Your wedding day is going to be a blur, and the best thing you can do is surround yourself with a great coordinator you can trust. I’m happy to say that on the day, we were able to go with the flow and enjoy ourselves.
Everything went off as planned (or better), looked beautiful, and our guests had THE BEST time. Any in-the-moment decisions we couldn’t give input to were the right ones. Any wedding-day secrets between us or members of our wedding party were well-kept and executed via ROQUE.
At the end of the night, the ROQUE team made sure we received all our personal items, gifts, food, and anything else one might normally forget at the end of a long wedding day.
Post-event followup has also been great, and it’s clear you’re cared about as a client even after your event is over. Throughout this whole process, ROQUE kept us on track with detailed timelines, conversation logs, vendor lists, payment schedules, and monthly checklists for other items we needed to be accomplishing (such as sending out save-the-dates, or selecting attire for our wedding parties).
Communication was fast, clear, and it’s obvious from our experience that ROQUE do not take on more clients/events than they can handle with a personal touch. In short, we’re absolutely thrilled to have worked with the team at ROQUE, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for your wedding.

I first met Raquel back in 2015 after just getting engaged and running into a mutual wine acquaintance who told me, “There was no one in the Napa Valley he would trust planning his wedding except, Raquel Bickford.” I was immediately introduced to Raquel via email and within a month we set-up a lunch at Bottega, right across from where my husband and I would eventually get married. After speaking with other planners to compare and my mom who was anti-needing a wedding planner to begin with, we were convinced Raquel and Haley were the best fit for our wedding. Being a very detailed person, I was extremely impressed with all of their attention to detail when it came to our custom timeline and back-up rain plan. Raquel and Haley were on-site every step of the way to come up with a back-up rain plans just in case the weather did not work in our favor. Skip ahead to the day of our wedding and I could not be more impressed with Raquel and Haley's organization and set-up. Everyone was on-site early in the morning despite having a 6:00 pm wedding and assured me every step of the way that everything looked gorgeous! Their entire team was able to make adjustments when needed and kept the whole night running on time. Whenever my husband and I needed anything, they were right there to help or answer any questions. Coming from somebody who has trouble putting responsibilities in other people's hands, I could not be more happy with our decision in choosing Roque and could not stress the importance of not only having a wedding planner throughout the entire process but never going with just a day-of planner! We hired Raquel and Haley after we saw what an amazing job they did at our friend's wedding in Napa. Once we found our dream venue in Sonoma, we met with a few wedding planners, but Raquel's attention to detail and professionalism won us over. She helped us plan our dream wedding in less than 5 months!!! I knew what I wanted but with all the beautiful pinterest boards and ideas online it was really hard to pinpoint what would work for us in terms of design/style/budget. The questionnaire they used really helped and then she sent us a vision board that we used as a foundation of the style we wanted. Raquel was very patient with us as we went back and forth on a few things because of budget and she had really great recommendations for us to stay within budget. Everything turned out more beautiful than I can even imagine. Raquel and Haley really went above and beyond! We wanted to do a s'mores table and since our venue didn't handle outside food, Raquel and Haley did an amazing set up of our s'mores table, blankets by the fire, and just overall placement, decorations, and signage. Raquel really has a great eye and knows what will look good. As stressful as planning a wedding can be, Raquel made it very fun and smooth. They sent us timelines that were also very helpful. We can't thank Raquel and Haley enough for the amazing dream wedding they planned for us. So many of our friends said it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to.
