Fireside Social by The ROQUE Foundation is a monthly meet up for female entrepreneurs and females in the workforce in the Bay Area. With networking, focused topics and focused females at each meeting, we can spark something great together.
A donation is appreciated, all proceeds go to The ROQUE Foundation.
THE ROQUE FOUNDATION
Each FIRESIDE CHAT will collect donations to go towards a grant to female entrepreneurs.
With a yearly goal of $5,000 in donations, ROQUE will create a grant submission contest for 2 female entrepreneurs to receive $2,500.

Raquel has spent years creating a detailed process that helps her clients develop a vision efficiently and beautifully. After graduating from FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design + Merchandising) and working with international brands, she returned to her home of Napa Valley to bring together her passions of event design and hospitality. For her, the success of ROQUE is built upon dreams realized.
Meghan Marsh King
Storytelling, Strategy + Solutions
Meghan Marsh King is a brand strategist and writer with ten years experience in marketing, sales, operations and consumer experience. At the helm of her own brand she has managed a range of successful projects for clients as diverse as nonprofits, legal services, luxury retail, design and hospitality.
Meghan’s desire to tell stories and solve problems with artistry gives her a dynamic set of skills that lend themselves to improving business performance and creating brands and experiences that endure. Passionate about providing women with the tools to support each other, gather new insights, and cultivate their individual and collective power, Meghan joined the board of the ROQUE Foundation in its inaugural year and was voted in as Secretary.
Chef/Owner Winery Chefs Napa Valley
Laura was raised in an Italian family in Central Florida that spent every holiday gathered around a big table full of great food, wine, laughter and memories. Following her graduation from Florida State University with a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Laura traveled to Italy to pursue her culinary dreams. She graduated from the Culinary Institute of America with Honors and an Award in Management and Leadership. Laura's list of notable restaurant experience include The MET Private, Ai Fiori, Chez Panisse Restaurant, The Restaurant at Meadowood, Ciccio and more.
Laura Fox is now the Executive Chef and Owner of Winery Chefs Napa Valley, which focuses on providing wine friendly foods rooted in the bounty of wine country. Today, more than ever, Laura is determined to continue the conversation with farmers to find out what they are most excited about and translate that into a meal. To her, that is the true role of a Chef, to not only create bold flavors, but to be the element between the Farmer and the Diner.
Yoga Master + Non-Profit Organization Manager
Lauren Spahn is a yoga teacher, birth doula and writer; an avid reader and lifelong learning; a world traveler and a language enthusiast; a "my home is your home" - style hostess and a chocolate lover. She has a background in facilitation and project development as well as non-profit communications and management. Lauren brings an informed perspective on women's empowerment through her diverse experiences in yoga, women's health, and group facilitation. Lauren received a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan in Spanish with a minor in Women's Studies. After eight years of full-time non-profit work, she joined the ranks as a Registered Yoga Teacher at the start of 2015 and has been teaching and pursuing specialized training in pelvic floor work since then. She shares a passion for brining people together for collective sharing and practice and, through those experiences, has discovered the healing and transformative power of community.
