Jennifer + Jared, who live in New York, worked with us to plan their wedding in Sonoma County. The two were married at Chateau St. Jean, an estate nestled in the heart of the stunning Sonoma Valley. With incredible vineyard views, a dramatic mountain backdrop, lush gardens and the elegant 1920s chateau, guests definitely enjoyed the breathtaking ambience of the estate.
Their outdoor wedding landed on the hottest wedding of the year, with temperatures ranging from 106-111 degrees. It was so hot that day that the string trio that was originally hired couldn't perform during their ceremony. Our wonderful DJ Sir Edgar stepped in and set up speakers throughout the garden before guest arrival to play the ceremony music and the guests never knew the difference.
We designed a color palette off of muted tones of blush and blue. Guests loved the round dining tables decked with fall decor. The copper chargers were the hit of the party! We selected a number of items from Encore Event Rentals that fit our design vision perfectly. The talented The Girl and the Fig catered an amazing reception featuring Amuse-Bouche, Autumn Harvest Salad, Goat Cheese Gnocchi, Flat Iron Steak and Duck Breast.
