For those whose friends became engaged over the holiday season, many may be in the thick of bridal shower planning. Before the stress takes over, we recommend starting with a great theme, perhaps something sweet and a bit girly. Give us a dash of pink, creative floral and no shortage of wine and we are happy campers. Next choose your venue. Atmosphere is everything as it can set the tone and one with natural lighting will aid in better photographer. This allows all the décor and details look even more gorgeous. Spice it up a notch with the natural beauty and fragrance of fresh blooms that pulls in a soft, sophisticated and feminine color palette – this one perfect for Spring. Subtle twists in the arrangements like the intermixed drift wood on this tablescape creates a blend of texture and organic elements to the scene. These details, along with the wood floral containers and twig orbs hung from the draped ceiling compliment the beautiful winery setting. Without a doubt, this Kate Spade inspired bridal shower is a fete worth replicating from start to finish!

"Great Gatsby wedding inspiration that brings an iconic revival of the fabulous charm of the Roaring Twenties. The popularized flapper styles with sparkling embellishments and the influence of the Jazz Age and Art Deco design all played a key role during this era. Taking us back to this innovative and trend setting time is ROQUE Events who was behind creating a beautiful wedding styled shoot showcasing the glitz, glamour and opulence of a Great Gatsby themed wedding. Together with Napa Valley photographer, Christina LitleProprietor of c.m.elle studios and a talented team of vendors brought to life this luxury Great Gatsby wedding for our reader’s inspiration. For fans of the vintage style that want something special in their wedding this is a perfect theme.
For this shoot an Allure bridal gown was chosen for their bride complimented by the unique flare of 1920’s themed accessories that will keep guests talking and heads turning. Glittering in her gown and adornments, we think she looked absolutely amazing. A beautifully designed pearl and champagne full-length gown was perfect for the maid of honor. As in-line with the vintage 1920’s flapper styles, sheath silhouettes with brilliant adornments were all the rage. These ladies stand out against the clean and classic black tux chosen for the groom and groomsmen.
The decor for this wedding was grand and captivating with the use of blacks, white, champagne and gold colors. It was a charming and elegant affair with gold and black table decor with white floral and, of course, feather centerpieces by Posy Studios. A unique Art Deco triangle menu on top of lavish dinnerware and offset by gold silverware polished the tablescape. Our personal favorite is the ebony stemware that enhanced the black linens. The focal point of the shoot is the Art Deco inspired wedding cake with its marvelous gold detailing. This particular triple tiered cake is a Vanilla bean, white butter cake with layers of decadent caramel buttercream. The dessert table also featured gilded French fleur-de-sel macaroons and red velvet cake lollies.
The golden age will always be close to our hearts with its association to glitz and glamour and the romantic role it played in the influence of luxury weddings today!"
