Today we're highlighting our favorite looks from New York Bridal Fashion Week! A handful of designers showcased their incredible new collections for Spring/Summer 2018. We can't wait to see our real brides in some of these gorgeous gowns! We fell in love with so many, but here are some of our favorite looks!
Galia Lahav's Spring/Summer 2018 collection is inspired by the Victorian era in England and the 'Le Belle Epoque' period in France. Textured lace, careful attention to detail and awe-inspiringembellishments live alongside classic Victorian elements, such as high collars and capes. The antique vibe is complete with a diverse color palette of ivory, silver, dusty pinks and cream.
Viktor & Rolf
Even the most avant-garde designs from Viktor & Rolf have a pure, stripped-back quality, so they’re exquisite, yet timeless; artful, but not overpowering. Fans of the high-concept label will notice a few of V&R’s signatures right away: handmade flowers, often the size of real blooms; layers upon layers of pleated tulle, sometimes sliced at an angle; and oversize satin bows.
Oscar de la Renta
Oscar de la Renta's Spring 2017 Collection features fresh, feminine looks, with dresses filled with subtle embellishments and luxe details. These looks offer a stunning mix of elaborate lace, sequin and beaded designs with simple silhouettes.
Hayley Paige showcased another collection of gorgeous wedding dresses. From glittering sparkle details to fur penoirs, and feathers galore, this was one of Hayley Paige's most perfect collections.
Monique Lhuillier wants to get back to tradition with this lineup of regal, covered-up elegance. Lhuillier has a knack for subtle colors beyond white and ivory, like this season’s “latte” and “cappuccino” hues. Florals were a reoccurring theme. There were also jewel-encrusted capes, some made entirely from ropes of pearls, which were just the thing to jazz up the more understated dresses.
