My wife and I interviewed 7-8 other planners from a list we'd assembled and we were immediately struck by ROQUE’s organization, understanding of our style preferences, and technological touch. They stood out from the rest before we got into contract, and they will forever standout in the way they helped execute the most special day(s) of my life for my wife and I.
The way Raquel and Carly have organized themselves allowed my wife and I to be 100% on the same page from start to finish. Regular conference calls, image boards, vendor engagements, in person previews and the ability to always be there for questions put us at ease from start to finish. Its hard to actually describe the value ROQUE brings to the table which allowed us to 100% be focused on the things that mattered.
Our venue had no cell service, our guest list was 120, vendors were hours away and yet all of the potential logistical nightmares were completely avoided and the three day party went off seamlessly.

When we spoke to ROQUE Events it was very clear they were organized, thoughtful, and had a great sense of taste. Deciding to work with them was one of the best decisions we made. Planning a wedding over 2,000 miles away I knew I needed a planner, and ROQUE Events exceeded my expectations in every way! Working with Raquel and Carly was the best decision I've ever made in my life! Our wedding was PERFECT! I always knew I would want a wedding planner when I got married, but they did more than I ever imagined they would do. Wedding planning is hard enough even with a wedding planner so having someone that you trust who has vendor recommendations and relationships and knows how to turn your crazy ideas in to a reality is so helpful for saving time and making you feel comfortable in all of your decisions. It doesn't hurt that Raquel and Carly are awesome and fun to work with!
Raquel and Carly are also extremely creative and resourceful; we almost didn't do a farewell brunch the day after the wedding because all of the quotes were too expensive and I was getting frustrated, but they stayed positive and came up with the idea of food trucks in the park which was more affordable and so much fun!
All in all I LOVED working with them and would highly recommend them to other couples planning a wedding. They walked us through every step of the planning process and were always happy to answer my "What should I be doing now?" questions.

When we got engaged, I was both elated to plan our dream wedding and also overwhelmed with how my now husband and I would refine and accomplish our vision for the perfect wedding weekend. What I always thought would be our dream project together, was now a bit of a daunting endeavor. We had high expectations & didn’t know how to bridge the gap between our vision & executing it in reality. As San Francisco transplants from the Midwest, we wanted desperately to bring our family + friends out from around the world & entertain them in our favorite place, Napa Valley. After almost 6 years enjoying all that Northern California has to offer, we felt so strongly that we wanted to share & show off the beautiful state that is now our home. And we wanted to do it ourselves so we could control every detail! At first it seemed like this was something we could totally pull off on our own. We didn’t love the idea of a full service venue with set vendors and packages, however convenient that might be. We wanted to hand pick everything for an event that felt uniquely, us. If there was a small hiccup along the way, Roque and their vendors helped us resolve it quickly. To create a weekend that makes 170+ out of town guests feel welcomed and taken care of while also surprised & elated with unique details is no small task. We were very involved in planning with Roque and participated a lot. That was what we wanted and it was a part of the fun! I also have full confidence we could have let Raquel and Carly create our wedding entirely on their own and it would have been flawless. "It is impossible for any review to accurately describe what Raquel and her team did for us over the last week. In short, they performed a miracle under the most difficult circumstances imaginable. The ROQUE team is based in Napa, CA, a community currently suffering the worst wildfires in the history of California.
Raquel and Carly both had to move to safety in SF last week, which was also the week our wedding had been scheduled in Napa. On the morning of Tuesday Oct 10, we spoke to Raquel and we were very thankful to hear that she and her family were safe!! She shared with us that she had been evacuated to San Francisco the day before, and then without any hesitation, she started talking about options for our wedding. To still focus on your clients in a situation like this was truly remarkable – we were so very humbled and grateful. My wife’s family and many friends had already travelled to California from Russia and Europe, so we were still hoping to have an event somewhere in the Bay Area. Within hours of our call with Raquel Tuesday morning, she had not one but two different options for a wedding in San Francisco!! Let’s pause here for a second to consider what Raquel did for us. The morning after relocating from the fires, she was not only engaged with her clients but also rescheduled an entire wedding within a matter of hours. Just writing about this makes us choke up with gratitude.
We were married at the beautiful Fairmont Hotel in SF and our reception was in the Crown Room, which has 360 views of the city. But there is more…Raquel sent the Fairmont the existing contracts we had with vendors in Napa, who were also impacted by the fires. The Fairmont Hotel created a menu for the day that was almost identical to the one we originally selected. And the Fairmont also honored the prior contracts’ pricing, which was beyond generous. We are very thankful for everything Jenni and her team did for us at the Fairmont. Our wedding day was truly amazing and a day we will always remember. All this happened because of Raquel and her team. Every single one of our guests were amazed at how we were able to have a Fairmont wedding on such short notice. We know several guests who have already referred their friends to Raquel!

Your wedding day is going to be a blur, and the best thing you can do is surround yourself with a great coordinator you can trust. I’m happy to say that on the day, we were able to go with the flow and enjoy ourselves.
Everything went off as planned (or better), looked beautiful, and our guests had THE BEST time. Any in-the-moment decisions we couldn’t give input to were the right ones. Any wedding-day secrets between us or members of our wedding party were well-kept and executed via ROQUE.
At the end of the night, the ROQUE team made sure we received all our personal items, gifts, food, and anything else one might normally forget at the end of a long wedding day.
Post-event followup has also been great, and it’s clear you’re cared about as a client even after your event is over. Throughout this whole process, ROQUE kept us on track with detailed timelines, conversation logs, vendor lists, payment schedules, and monthly checklists for other items we needed to be accomplishing (such as sending out save-the-dates, or selecting attire for our wedding parties).
